Yes, the list is daunting (or exciting depending on the day and the circumstances. Yes, it is actually longer than 1001 books. This list contains all novels from all editions of the list. I don't have any method for making my way through it. I intend to treat this as an enjoyable experience rather than a school assignment. Maybe I'll read some of these more than once. Maybe I'll hate some of them and give up before finishing. I'd love suggestions on the must reads and any other thoughts.
